Booking and Visiting:

  • Kindly book viewings in advance with the manager to ensure a smooth experience.
  • We appreciate your understanding that unscheduled arrivals, checkouts, or viewings are not allowed.

Children:

  • To keep our furry residents calm, children are not allowed in the accommodation area.
  • Please refrain from bringing children when dropping off or picking up your cat.

Interacting with Cats:

  • We kindly ask that you only touch your own cat during your visit to respect the well-being of our other guests.

Vaccinations and Health:

  • Please ensure your cat’s vaccinations are up to date and provide records at drop-off.
  • Without proof of vaccination, we may need to deny admission for the safety of all our guests.
  • Unfortunately, Chestnut cannot accommodate cats with life-threatening conditions or open wounds.
  • Complete worm and flea treatment for your cat prior to reservation to ensure a healthy environment.
  • If fleas or worms are found post check-in, we will treat your cat and add the cost to your overall stay balance.

Belongings and Food:

  • Safely transport your cat in a secure carrier box; one box per cat.
  • We may need to wash personal items, so please avoid bringing valuable items to minimize the risk of damage.
  • If you choose to provide food, it will not affect the cost of stay; kindly ensure food is in date and in original packaging.

Deposits and Cancellations:

  • During busy seasons, we require deposits for reservations.
  • Your reservation will be confirmed once we receive the deposit.
  • We understand that plans can change, so we’re happy to refund deposits if cancellation occurs 5 days before the reservation, except during the Christmas period.
  • For the Christmas period, please provide 7 days notice (on or before December 18th) for deposit refund in case of cancellation.
